Thank you so much for the feedback from the staff meeting today. I have made changes to the basic research and inquiry sheets recommended by Ian C and Michael S, thanks guys
Verity and I got together yesterday and tweaked the form above and decided on Skill Sheets we will need to help students through the process
Over the next few weeks this will mean more sheets will appear here with the following focus. Referencing, Searching the Web, Evaluating Sources, Generating Inquiry Questions Using SOLO, Skim Slurp Summarise(taking notes). Please keep in touch and feel free to add comments or make suggestions.

Done some revisions of the Basic Search document, an inquiry guide and 3 help sheets. I am not seeing this as the only way to do inquiry but one formative way to move students at any level through the process with all this available scaffolding would love some feedback on what people think or I'm just typing away in isolation

If anyone is interested in looking at the latest attempt at producing a research template here is version 1, this is for basic research for everyone from yr 7-13 as a basic starting point, we could keep copies in the library
I have been working with 7H and after using the research sheet have made some changes
Have also come up with a reference helpsheet, any feedback gratefully received
